• Being a Class Representative is a volunteer role that fulfills all volunteer points (per semester depending on tenure)

• Purpose for a Class Representative is to be the point of contact for the teacher and parents for each class

每一個年級的班代的主要職責是做為班級老師和家長的溝通和聯絡的橋樑

• Class Representatives are decided at the first Class Parent Meeting of the semester

在上學期班會招開的時候會選出班級代表

• • Each semester could be a different parent; however, full year is preferred for continuity

每一個學期班上的家長有可能會不同，班代最好是能擔任一整年(兩個學期)，這樣對於班務工作的連續性和熟悉度會比較好

CLASS REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES 班級代表職責

(a) Set up best method of communication among class families (i.e. group text, WhatsApp, LINE, etc)

建立班級家長之間良好的溝通模式(可使用以下社交溝通軟體如: group text，WhatsApp, LINE，等等

(b) Management of class funds that will be passed on each year, ordering construction paper, treats for celebrations, etc

負責管理班費、訂購班級活動需要材料、採買慶祝活動所需物品等

(c) Support teacher for preparation and needs, cutting lanterns, collecting homework, etc

協助老師預備或準備室是所需物品、協助剪燈籠、回收和改正家庭作業等

(d) Track Class Duty points and report to Volunteer Coordinator

核實班級志工點數並傳送給志工協調員

(e) Coordinate Class Duty volunteering

整合班上所有志工事宜

(f) Planning of class celebrations (ie, end of semester egg tarts to celebrate birthdays, teacher appreciation, etc)

策劃班級慶祝活動（如:學期末購買蛋撻來慶祝生日、準備感謝老師謝卡等）

(g) Manage class for CNY festival, facilitate parent teacher meetings, and is main point of contact for class

統籌班級春節慶祝活動、班會、代表班級等

- Responsible for holding a box of these supplies to be passed on each year 

負責保管班級的物資箱，每一屆班代都必須交接班級物資

- Rollover materials after graduation goes to school

畢業後轉交學校所需的班級資料

- Rollover funds after graduation goes to school

畢業後轉交班費給學校

(h) Liaison between teacher and parents for needs and support

代表家長傳達他們的需求並支持家長的需求

(i) Point person for what's going on in class

班上有突發事件發生班代為主要協調處理人
